Language Access
English is the most widely spoken language in the U.S., but as many as 350 other languages are spoken across the country, including Russian and Ukrainian. Many organizations offer English as a Second Language (ESL) classes to help newly arrived adults learn to speak, read, and write in English. Medical settings, public schools, and other public institutions are required by law to provide you with an interpreter so you can receive information in your preferred language.
